      What is  independence day to us ? a day that has no classes ?  just an ordinary holiday ? a day just to do nothing ? a day just to go to the beach ?  or is it the day that our ancestor freed us from the hands of the Spaniards? Independence day is the day that our ancestor freed us from those who tried to conquer our beloved land. without our brave ancestors who sacrificed their lives we will be just be a slave. without our ancestors the suffering will never end. Every 12th of June we celebrate independence day so that we can remember that it is the day that we are now free, free from those who tried to conquer us.
